Emma Abbott:

Meditation Teacher & Women’s Circle Facilitator, Melbourne

Hello, I’m Emma, a Melbourne-based meditation teacher, counsellor, and psychotherapist-in-training with a background in group facilitation and women’s work.

I offer Vedic Meditation courses, weekly meditation, women’s Sister Circles, and integrative one-to-one support in Hawthorn, Melbourne, and seasonally in Byron Bay.

My approach is grounded, relational, and nervous system aware β€” drawing from meditation, psychology, and years of holding circles and one-to-one work.

I believe every person has the potential to live a meaningful, connected, and deeply fulfilling life β€” not despite their struggles, but through meeting them with care, honesty, and support.

I work intentionally and gently, with deep respect for the pace at which real change unfolds.

How OMMA can support you

  • Learn To Meditate

The Vedic meditation technique is a mantra based practice that has helped me and millions of people around the world to cultivate a calm body and inner stability. Hand on my heart, this practice has been instrumental in my shifting gears from anxiety and overwhelm to clarity and calm. Opening up to self-compassion has been one of the greatest gifts of all!

  • Tuesday Meditation Groups

Join the Omma community via Zoom on Tuesday evenings during school term. The session starts with a grounding, guided meditation followed by breathwork and our silent vedic practice. We complete the session with a gratitude practice. We welcome you with hearts wide open!

    Tuesday evenings at 8.15 pm

  • Retreats & Events
